he MRSC staff from Region 1 was proud to be a part of National Farmworkers Awareness Week. This event was sponsored by Proteus. The essential work of farm workers was highlighted, and South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg read an official proclamation recognizing March 28- April 1 as National Farmworker Week in the city. State Representative Pat Bauer and Senator John Broden were also present. The MRSC was delighted to highlight our program and explain our outreach.
